Dale Hudson - NR Group

I am pleased to submit the following information in support of my application to continue serving as the Atlantic representative for the NR Group executive for the next two-year term.

Employment Background:

  • Employed in the private sector as a Project Manager for 20 years
  • Employed by PSPC (PWGSC) since 2001 in Atlantic Region
  • Currently at the ENG 04 level in Project Management

PIPSC Background & current involvement

  • PSPC PIPSC Steward since 2011
  • Halifax NR Sub-group past Treasurer and member since 2014
  • Regional OHS Representative for PSPC since 2013
  • PSPC Consultation at local, Regional & National levels
  • Co-chair for National Working Group on Professional Development for PSPC
  • Member Conduct Roster since 2013
  • Atlantic Rep. and secretary for NR Group Executive since January 2017
  • Chair of NR Contracting Out working group
  • NR representative for Employee Wellness Support Plan (EWSP) Implementation Team.

As a member of the NR Executive, I will continue to work to address the issues of importance for our Members while improving our group’s communication at all levels.  In addition to regular NR assigned duties, I will remain focused on addressing Outsourcing trends in the Civil Service.  I will also work to ensure the best possible outcome for our EWSP in the next round of bargaining.    

I would appreciate your support for me to continue representing the Atlantic NR members on the Group Executive.
