PIPSC NAV CANADA Group Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Save the Date! Our AGM is scheduled for May 16, 2019-- Save the Date! - Official invite to come.This is a change from the traditional March date because we have Mediation/Arbitration scheduled with the employer regarding our outstanding grievance on Flex Working Arrangements.
Bargaining
Bargaining training was held in Montreal on February 20 and 21 for your bargaining team.The union (PIPSC) will file our notice to bargain prior to the expiry of our Collective Agreement (CA) April 30, 2019.It is important to note that the terms and conditions of our CA are frozen until we reach a new agreement with NAV CANADA. We will be launching our survey in early March.We have bargaining preparation meetings scheduled for March 20-22, 2019 in Ottawa.

Flex Work Arrangements
The union has met with NAV CANADA on multiple occasions to resolve the outstanding grievance on Flex Work Arrangements during the past 12 months. While meaningful progress has been made on resolving the issue in certain areas, there remains an unwillingness in other areas to allow Flex Work Arrangements without giving reasonable consideration to the requests.The parties are scheduled for mediation at the end of March to resolve the issue.We will keep you updated on any progress made on this topic.
