After many years of working with the employer and other employee groups, the draft Pay equity plan has been posted to Merlin, and is now open for member feedback. In accordance with the Federal Pay Equity Act, the draft Plan will be posted on the internal CFIA website for a 60-day consultation period, providing all CFIA employees the opportunity to review the Plan and submit written comments to the Pay Equity Committee. Following this consultation period, all feedback will be reviewed and incorporated where appropriate, with the final Pay Equity Plan scheduled to be posted on or before March 3, 2026.
Employees can access the draft Plan directly through the internal CFIA website. Please note that the link must be opened on your Government of Canada computer
To submit your feedback, please complete the Comment Form, accessible via the QR code posted on the internal CFIA site. All comments submitted through the form will be reviewed by the full Committee, including PIPSC representatives. Your feedback is important and helps ensure that member perspectives are reflected. The feedback period closes on February 16, 2026.
