Mark Muench
I have been your PIPSC AFS CS National Consultation Representative since 2016. I passionately served the CS community across Canada from day one and I want to continue to represent you for the next three years. Here are just some of my achievements:
- I fought hard to achieve one of the best Collective Agreements within the core public service. Now that we are back at the table, I want to continue to push for a fair wage increase and enhanced rights.
- I have worked hard to help many of our members to resolve serious Phoenix pay issues over the past two years. I will continue to work hard on all Phoenix issues as they arise to ensure our members are paid fully and on time.
- I have improved consultation within ITB by redesigning the Union Management consultation structure at all levels.
- I have been working hard for fair and transparent staffing process for all of our ITB regions. The one size fits all approach for staffing is not working. I will continue to work with management to address all CS staffing concerns and try to find options that benefit everyone.
- I have been working with CRA’s Classification group to review the various occupational groups represented by the AFS group within the agency with the goal of ensuring that each classification reflect the work we do and the rights outlined in the Canadian Human Rights Act.
- I will continue to work hard for you and improve the working environment of all CS’s in the CRA.
I am asking once again for your support in this election. Please vote for me when casting your vote in the AFS election.
