Résumé – for Member-at-Large

As always, I believe our group is here for the members and to advance the needs of our members and our group. I would listen to you and convey your expectations to the group. My participation with the consultation team and in the various Advisory Council meetings and those of the Consultation Working Group have enlightened me on the issues facing all our members. I will do everything I can to defend the interests of the members of the IT Group. I will continue to raise awareness among members and bring a little more clarity, firmness, and conviction within our ranks.

Thank you for showing your interest and solidarity by participating in this election and I would be extremely grateful for your support for my candidacy for the national executive of the IT Group.

My achievements as a steward:

  • Met, prepared, submitted, and represented several IT members with Phoenix grievances.
  • Met, discussed, and directed members to the right people/resources for those members that have experienced workplace harassment.
  • Participated in several national union-management meetings with ASC‘s consultation team.
  • Organized and participated in several union activities for the subgroup and branch members.
  • Actively participated in the Quebec Delegates council and the Quebec Regional council.
  • Diligently participated in the IT Group AGM and the National AGM whenever I was appointed as a delegate.
  • I took the time to meet you in your workplace, whenever possible, just to be able to discuss with you on various subjects of common interest.

What I could accomplish during my mandate:

  • Listen to your concerns and be your spokesperson within the national executive of the IT group.
  • Communicate the intentions and objectives of the national executive more directly to you.
  • Work closely with other subgroup chairs to engage our members and lead them to greater participation.
  • Affirm the importance of IT members by brandishing our exploits in critical operations within the Canadian government.
  • Ensure the success of any task that the national executive would offer me.

Experience

  • President of the IT Montérégie subgroup since 2021.
  • Active member and then vice-president of the IT Montérégie sub-group (CS Montérégie) since 2015.
  • Vice-president of the Canadian Space Agency's national consultation team since 2015.
  • Active member of the Branch since 2019.
  • Secretary of the Montérégie Branch from 2015 to 2018 and active member thereafter.
  • Union Steward of the Institute since 2015.
