Gabriela Rivera - Biography

With six years of experience as a steward for our union, I have gained invaluable insight into the needs of our members, the importance of clear communication, and the dedication required to support our collective goals. I believe my experience, and passion for workers’ rights uniquely position me to effectively serve as Secretary.

During my time as a union steward, I have had the privilege of working closely with members across different departments, addressing concerns, facilitating communication between members and leadership, and ensuring that our collective agreements are upheld. I have always been committed to making sure that every voice is heard, and that our union remains a strong, united force for positive change. As a steward, I have developed a strong understanding of our union’s structure and the importance of maintaining accurate records, organizing meetings, and ensuring that our members stay informed and engaged. 

I am deeply committed to our union’s mission, and I am excited about the opportunity to contribute in this new capacity. Together, we can continue to strengthen our collective voice and build a better future for all members.
