Dr. Bharatinder Singh - CFIA-VM

I am presently working as VM-01 at the Belleville district animal health office. I have started with CFIA in 2010 in southwest Ontario at St. Mary’s poultry slaughterhouse. As a union steward, I have actively participated in union meetings, represented members in regional UMCC meetings and AGM’s.

I am running for the "member at large" position and I am looking for your support as I promise that we should receive a fair collective agreement and to have a work-life balance. I strive for a safer environment amid COVID-19 pandemic at slaughterhouses which are high-risk workplaces. I seek to protect sick leave provisions in future collective agreements.
