I received my Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from University of Guelph in Canada in 1995. Since 2001, I joined the National Research Council Canada in London Ontario first as an assistant Research Officer, and then an associate Research Officer. In 2010, I became a senior Research Officer, Supervisor and Core Project Leader. I am honored to serve a PIPSC Steward and NRC RORCO group executive since 2019. Through my volunteer work at PIPSC, I have garnered a better understanding of diversity, how to adapt to continual change, and deal with conflict. I embraced this learning curve head on. I believe that as brothers and sisters of the RORCO group we can always learn new things from one another. I will take a leadership role at my workplace and around NRC in supporting our members and their wellbeing in the workplace. As an Executive member I want to be part of the solution and assist in giving the opportunity of mentorship to all union members to the best of my ability.
