Cathy Cheung

My name is Cathy Cheung, a Research Officer in the Aerospace Research Centre. I've been working at NRC since 2003 in Ottawa and I've been a member of the NRC-RO/RCO group executive since 2016. I would like to continue to support the RO/RCO group on the executive and share the valuable knowledge and experience I've gained from serving as group president for 7 years. While we've made many important gains in the last bargaining round, there are still a number of challenges we face in the near future: uncertainty with IRAP's future given SDTC and CIC, a potential change in federal government, and stabilizing our consultation efforts at NRC, to name a few. I will continue to work hard for the RO/RCO group as a steward, in consultation, and wherever else needed. However, I hope you will support my nomination to continue on the executive.
