Engage employer in a more transparent approach
Highlight our achievements and dedication
Finalize (re)Classification exercise
Eliminate fruitless meetings
Realize gains to be at par with colleagues in different sectors
Ensure future staffing is equitable and favorable for our members
Work with PIPSC Groups harmoniously to achieve greater success.

Reduce union dues
PIPSC has accumulated aprox. $22 MILLION surplus since FYE 2016
In-person meetings and some operations have grinded to a halt due to COVID-19
FYE 2021 will again close with another huge surplus
Campaign to reduce union dues rather than increase needless spending

Review Subgroup structure to better serve members
Current Subgroup structure may not necessarily mirror CRA’s reporting structure
Members who work remotely may not be in the same physical location as their subgroup or supervisor
Revisit our approach in providing services to members and engage in more effective union-management consultation.

My Background
Member of the Association of Canadian Financial Officers (ACFO-ACAF) from 1999-2005
Member of PIPSC from 2006 to present.
Served at different levels within PIPSC (Subgroup, Group and Branch Executives)
Selected as delegate for PIPSC AGMs, co-chair of union-management consultation sessions, and chair for different union meetings
Employed as a Financial Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst, SME Auditor, Criminal Investigation Auditor, Rulings Officer and Audit Advisor for the CRA.
Proud father to an awesome 5 year old son and husband to a loving wife.
