Experience
• NUREG Member since 2008
• Steward since 2009
• Member of the NUREG Executive Committee since 2012
• Member of the NUREG Bargaining Team for the 2011-2014, 2014-2018 Collective Agreements
• Local Occupational Health and Safety Representative 2010-2013
• Member of the Policy Health and Safety Committee Sub-committee on Covid-19 Pandemic Response
• Represented the interests of NUREG members locally by attending the Ontario Regional Steward Council since 2011
• Attended Advanced Steward Training School since 2013 and ongoing continuing steward training as available.
• Member of the Employee Wellness Support Program development team at PIPSC 2016-2019
• Experience representing members in grievances
Commitment to you
I will:
• Fairly represent all NUREG members;
• Work hard to protect the rights of all NUREG members;
• Hold management accountable to their responsibilities to honour the terms and conditions of the collective agreement and to conduct meaningful consultations with NUREG; and
• Always make time to listen to member concerns and take appropriate actions to ensure resolution.
