I am applying because I want to be involved in the collective bargaining process and provide representation for the newer group members in my region, and generally to keep the union active into the future.

I don't have a specific agenda, but I do hear from folks in our group in the region with concerns regarding changes to the office environment and how these changes may affect onboarding for professionals (among other issues).  Providing a platform for those voices in a collaborative way would be my aim. 

I've been a steward for three years and am a member of the PIPSC Vancouver Branch executive which has been helpful building my understanding of how the union works (attending several AGMs and stewards’ councils).
