Aleksandra Dukic

My name is Aleksandra Dukic; I am a Technical Lead at PSPC, member of a CS group and a proud PISPC Steward. I was a member of Ottawa West CS executive when I worked in the Ottawa West area. I am a very motivated and interested CS/PIPSC member who regularly organizes, attends, and participates in various union meetings and activities. I organised visibility events, Lunch and Learns during CS to IT conversion and mobilized members during negotiations.

I am very passionate about organised labour and all that a union stands for. For this reason, in 2009 I accepted a CS position and joined public service. Since I became a Steward in 2018, I provided support to many of our members and will continue to serve in this role. I am keen to start working with our employer to improve the way CS group is perceived and negotiated with. As CS expertise are in high demand, there is a lot we can improve upon; we should be paid fairly and comparably for our work. I will work with the executive to represent our members, priorities, protect CS group standards and promote our interests.
