I pledge, if elected, to assure that all group decisions are approved by the whole executive and that all group spending is reviewed by the group executive and finance committee.
I am a full time employee with PSPC with over 30 years of union experience. I am a PG (Business Analyst).
Indigenous (Algonquin) and bilingual.
My priorities:
- honesty, transparency and good judgement
- national outreach and inclusion,
- standard of excellence in bargaining
- successful CP group leadership
- rights of all members
- assist, advise and mentor CP group President
As a steward I have counselled and represented hundreds of members in grievances, mediations and various labour relations matters. I have recruited and mentored many dozens of new stewards. All of which resulted in me being awarded the prestigious PIPSC Life Member Award. I spearheaded the Leave for Victims of Domestic Violence for Federal Public Servants, which is now part of collective agreements. I was part of the team that negotiated the MOA for the new sick leave Employee Wellness Support Program.
