Greenwood Branch Executive Minute - October 10th, 2019

ACTION/INFO

2.    Secretary presented the minutes from the last meeting, April 2019.  Minutes were reviewed and accepted by all present.

3. NEW BUSINESS

1.    Treasurer’s Report. Henry stated that he has received reimbursement from PIPSC for previous Lunch & Learn talk. There are still expenses payable this year for Christmas party and Branch AGM. Henry motioned to accept, seconded by Marcel.

2.    Secretary’s Report. Members’ list to be kept updated. Marcel suggests that retired members be added to list. Need to reconcile with list from PIPSC. Status of members to be monitored regularly. Report accepted by all present

3.    President’s Report. PIPSC national AGM approaching. Eva and Marcel to attend (Eva on behalf of CS Group). Marcel will also be attending the Stewards’ Council. Marcel announced that there is a new steward on the wing: Graham Joanisse. Marcel motioned to accept report, Eva seconded.

4. OPEN DISCUSSION

1. Branch AGM will be held on October 30^th, at Yellow Leaf in Kingston. There will be no speaker this year. Marcel will be discussing resolutions for the upcoming National AGM.

2. Movie night may take place this winter. Possibly January (as December is a busy month).

3. Christmas party to happen on December 17^th. Eva to inquire about axe-throwing place in Greenwood as venue.

4. There will be a branch executive meeting in mid-November, possibly the 12^th. Venue tbd.
