L'Institut professionnel de la fonction publique du Canada

Hello members,

The CRPEG bargaining team met with the company on March 16-18, 2021. The focus of this session of negotiations was on MOAs and monetary issues. Progress continues to be made and the negotiations are proceeding in a collegial manner.

The PIPSC’s Pay Analyst presented the results of the detailed study of the state of the market for nuclear industry and the Canadian economy in support of CRPEG’s pay proposal. Unfortunately at this time there is a gap between the company’s pay offer and the CRPEG’s pay proposal. Your bargaining team is seeking better recognition of the membership’s professional work. The work will continue at the next session of negotiations which has been scheduled for April 27-29, 2021.

As always following directives from PIPSC, CNL and Government of Ontario public health guidelines, negotiations are taking place remotely. Network bandwidth and internet speed limitations continue to be a challenge.

Your bargaining team,
