On behalf of your Negotiating Team, I would like to update you on the status of negotiations for a new Collective Agreement.
As you know, the Negotiating Team has met with the Employer on numerous dates since November 20, 2019. I regret to inform you that at our latest negotiations meeting on April 21, 2021, we have encountered an impasse.
All is not lost. Rather, we are now investigating our options so that we can achieve a suitable tentative agreement.
We will provide you with additional information as it becomes available.
