The issue
Work force adjustments (WFAs) continue to affect members across the public service. These cuts threaten the services Canadians count on, and place heavier burdens on the workers who provide them. PIPSC is here to ensure you have the information and support you need.
We firmly believe that real savings can be achieved by ending outsourcing practices, not by reducing our dedicated work force. Please know that your union continues to advocate on your behalf at every level of government to protect both our members’ livelihoods and the quality public services that Canadians count on every day.
Work force adjustment is a lengthy process. Learn how it rolls out through our flow chart.
