MINUTES of the 26th Annual General Meeting of the Québec City Branch on September 19, 2016 (Citadelle of Quebec)
1.0 Call to Order and Introductions (Executive, guests and speakers)
At 5:50 p.m., Réjean Michaud welcomed everyone, introduced the Executive members, guests and speakers, established that a quorum was present and called the meeting to order.
2.0 Reading of the Notice of Meeting
Lyne Larocque moved that the Notice of Meeting not be read. The motion was seconded by Pierre Bouffard.
Carried unanimously
3.0 Reading and Approval of Agenda
Réjean Michaud read the agenda and Roger Boisvert moved that it be approved. Jean-Guy Bernard seconded the motion.
Carried unanimously
4.0 Reading and Approval of Minutes of the 25th AGM
Olivier Finette, seconded by Marie-Joseph Tardif, moved that the minutes of the October 7, 2015 meeting be approved.
Carried unanimously
5.0 President’s Report
Réjean Michaud gave a report on the past year.
Jamil Jalbert moved that the President’s Report be approved. Marc Fournier seconded the motion.
Carried unanimously
6.0 Treasurer's Report and Approval of Financial Statements
Treasurer Daniel Brouillette presented the financial statements. Guy Abel, seconded by Pierre-Claver Bigirindavyi, moved that the financial statements be approved.
Carried unanimously
7.0 Appointment of Auditor and Alternate
Réjean Michaud nominated Maurice Hammond as Auditor. Seconded by Denis Caissy.
Carried unanimously
Réjean Michaud nominated Olivier Finette as Alternate. Seconded by Ian Charpentier.

8.0 History of the Citadelle, Presentation by Alain Deneault on Tax Havens, Supper, Draw
9.0 Adjournment
At 10:05 p.m., Daniel Brouillette, seconded by Jean Couillard, moved that the meeting be adjourned.
