GTA Branch Meeting, December 17, 2025

Opening: Welcome by Kuini Chuen at 6:20 pm.
Approval of Agenda: moved by Kuini, seconded by Vini.
Motion to accept September 17th meeting Minutes: moved by Nuşin, seconded by Lalita.
Both Agenda and Minutes were approved.
Reflection of Past Events: The Zoo event was held October 26th.
The TILT event did not take place and has been deferred to March 10th.
The Midland Holiday party took place December 10th at Queen Victoria Pub in Scarborough.
The PIPSC AGM took place December 13-14, 2025, at the Sheraton in Toronto. Kuini and Nicole attended on behalf of the Branch, Lalita, Stan and Nathanael were also in attendance.
GTA Branch Pulse Check: Some departments have already started receiving WFA letters. WFA info sessions are being held.
Upcoming Events/Items: The Winter networking social will take place on January 28, 2026, at the Frog. The announcement will be prepared soon.
Action Item: Stan to setup the winter networking event at the Frog.
The TILT event will take place March 10th, Kuini to organize.
The Steward appreciation dinner will take place March 25th
The Branch AGM will take place April 8th
The ORC is scheduled for April 17-18, 2026.
Finance Review: We still have expenses to pay for visibility items. Signatories were setup for the account.
The 2026 allocation will be requested in the new year. It will be based on funds remaining on December 31st.
Round Table: No discussion items were raised.
Next Meeting: Next meeting is to be held February 17th, location TBA.
Adjournment: Stan made a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm.
