81st BC/Yukon Regional Council
NOTICE OF MEETING

The 81st British Columbia/Yukon Regional Council Meeting is scheduled on the afternoon of Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th, 2026 at the Laurel Point Inn in Victoria BC. We are excited to have the PIPSC Board of Directors attending as observers this year.
Delegate Allotment
Branch Presidents should begin to identify their delegates immediately. The delegate numbers are as follows:

Branch Presidents, please provide the name(s) of your delegate(s) and alternate(s) no later than Tuesday, April 7, 2026 to Alex Mclachlin at amclachlin@pipsc.ca. Delegates will be sent a link to register with details for registration, travel and accommodations.
The meeting materials will be available for review in an online virtual binder. Notification will be sent to delegates when the binder is posted.
Draft Agenda
On Thursday, June 4th, 2026, the Regional Executive will meet during the day.
On Friday, June 5th, 2026, a Branch President meeting will be held from 9:00 am to noon.
The Regional Council will commence at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 5th, 2026.
The Regional Council dinner will take place on the evening of Friday, June 5th, 2026.
On Saturday, June 6th, 2026, the Regional Council will continue from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and will include breakfast and lunch for the delegates.
Branch Reports, Committee Reports and Resolutions
Please note, Branch reports, Committee reports and resolutions to be included in the virtual binder are due by Tuesday, April 7th. In order for documents to be translated and included in the virtual binder, please respect this due date for materials.

Nominations for Regional Executive
Nominations are being accepted for five – 3 year positions, to be elected at the Council meeting. A nomination form can be submitted in advance to Alex Mclachlin amclachlin@pipsc.ca or at the Council meeting on June 5th, 2026, prior to the elections.
