4. New Business
Election of new Treasurer. Roger Miller volunteered to become our new treasurer. Call for other interested executive members. There being none, Roger was acclaimed until the next election at the AGM 2026. Roger was given the cheque book and a USB stick containing branch financial files. 2 cheques were issued to Alan Messner for expenses related to the 2 xmas socials.
Action: notify PIPSC national of the change so they can update banking information. Alan
Institute will provide the new treasurer with a signature card and instructions.
5. Upcoming Events: Social event March, midway between Courtnay and Nanaimo - Bowser? Fanny Bay Inn? Annual AGM 2026
6. Roundtable: there may be some new PIPSC members in the Courtnay area who were at the social but who did not receive notification. Carl to follow up.
