1. Approval of Agenda
· Agenda approved by all.
2. Approval of April 5th, 2023 executive meeting minutes
· Minutes of the previous meeting approved by all.
3. Bargaining update
· Central Table
· Tentative deal reached – currently embargoed while being examined by PIPSC executive and treasury board management. May take a couple of weeks for approvals on both sides. Marcel also discussed a list of proposals discussed at the Central table and sent a link to the group see link for more info: Central Table Proposals | The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (pipsc.ca)). The deal will be filtered down to the bargaining teams once it has been given the go ahead.

1. June (20-22th) and July (4-6th) dates
2. Pay proposal being submitted in June. Will know by July if deal has been reached or if arbitration is required.
3. Start thinking L&Ls in the fall for ratification meetings.
4. Text message communications
· PIPSC will be using text messaging more often this year. SP Group has signed on to try it. Discussed that better communications need to be sent out by PIPSC regarding text messages being sent are legitimate and are not spam. Members should have the option to opt in or out of receiving these text messages.
5. PIPSC AGM - 4 days (Nov 26-29)
· Meeting and training seminars over 4 days.
· Emails to sign up have been sent out. Deadline is June 9th.
· Can apply for delegate as part of the 50 Victoria Street SP sub-group or the NCR group.
6. Subgroup President’s Meetings
· Sub-group’s president’s meeting in Niagara Falls on June 17th. Marcel’s replacement is needed as Mary is unable to attend.
Action: Executive members to let Marcel know if they can attend or not.
7. PSAC strike
· Tentative deal reached. Ratification vote by June 16th.
· For pay:
a. 12% over 4 years (12.6% compounded over 4 yrs.);
b. $2500 pensionable signing bonus (one time) and counts towards pension and
c. Letter of agreement on telework.
8. BC/Yukon election in process
· Currently running an election for position (from BC/Yukon region) on the SP Group Executive for 2 yrs.
9. Next Meeting
· 13th July.
Action: Reg to send out meeting request for July 13th.
10. Round Table
· Mary mentioned that for lunch meetings, executive members can claim up to $23.90 towards food purchase (need a receipt for reimbursement)
Action: Marcel to confirm if we can expense through PIPSC CONCUR or do we have to go through Mary.
