This message concerns CHN03s at Health Canada conducting Category III Assessment

If you were recently asked to perform Category III assessments that are not captured in your Job Description, PIPSC is urging you to file a Job Content Grievance.

How to File:

To submit a grievance, please fill out the highlighted sections of the attached prefilled grievance form, insert the date you were asked to start performing these tasks (section C), your contact information/signature and your supervisor’s contact information/signature.

Do not modify the document further.  Electronic signatures are accepted.

The next step would be to submit it before the deadline to PISPC at compensation@pipsc.ca  If you are unable to obtain your supervisor or HR representative’s signature before the deadline, please submit it without such a signature, making sure to copy your supervisor on the email sent to PIPSC.  Copying your supervisor will serve as documentation that the grievance was submitted to the employer on time.

Deadline:

The deadline to submit a grievance is 25 calendar days from the date you were asked to begin performing the new tasks. To allow PIPSC sufficient time to process the grievance, all documentation should be submitted to us as soon as possible, and no later than 15 days from that date. If you have not yet been directed to perform any task that is not captured in your current job description, the 25-day deadline has not yet begun.
