New Logo
For the past year, the NR group has been working on the creation of a new logo that reflects the three professions within this group: Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors. Once the four logo options were approved by the executive, we held a contest to choose the logo from the four proposed options and provided gift cards to members that voted.
NR Bylaws
Bylaws approved by the NR AGM and submitted to PIPSC have now been confirmed and are available on the website.
Bargaining
In September 2025, the NR Bargaining Team attended the PIPSC Bargaining Training Session in Gatineau, Québec. Our next focus will be on developing a NR Survey that will include questions to our members. Our current Agreement expires September 30, 2026, and we will be able to provide Notice to Bargain 90 prior to its expiry.
NR AGM
Our Group AGM was held September 20, 2025, in Montreal. The event was successful in determining the course for our Group. The 2025 Financial Report and 2026 Budget were approved. Details are available to NR members from our Group Treasurer John Eng: jeng@pipsc.ca

Our NR election started November 06, 2025, and concluded December 05. The NR positions up for election are as follows:
Pacific: elections in 2026
Atlantic: elections in 2026
Prairies / NWT: Hugo Buttau – Acclaimed
Ontario: Aaron Thompson – Acclaimed
Quebec: Luc Thibodeau – Acclaimed
NCR: Sana Abou-Shaaban, Yves Cousineau, and David A. Young
The Officers for the NR Executive will be elected at their first executive meeting in January 2026, and the changes will be reported in our next newsletter. Thank you to all nominees & voters.
PIPSC AGM
The PIPSC National AGM was held December 12 &13, 2025, in Toronto. Your Executive and NR selected Delegates attended. We will be providing a summary of significant Motions affecting NRs.
