After extensive work by PIPSC representatives on the Pay Equity Committee, we are pleased to share that the draft CFIA Pay Equity Plan is now available for employee review. In accordance with the Federal Pay Equity Act, the draft Plan will be posted on the internal CFIA site for a 60-day consultation period, giving all CFIA employees the opportunity to read the Plan and provide written comments to the Pay Equity Committee. Following this review period, all feedback will be considered and incorporated where appropriate, with the final Pay Equity Plan scheduled for posting on or before March 3, 2026.
Employees can access the draft Plan directly through the internal CFIA website.
To submit your feedback, please complete the Comment Form, accessible via the QR code posted on the internal CFIA site. All comments submitted through the form will be reviewed by the full Committee, including PIPSC representatives.
