Meeting called to order at 7:05 pm

1. Opening remarks

The Director welcomed everyone to the meeting.

2. Recipients of Legacy Fund Scholarships

Discussion revolving around invitation of scholarship winners.

Motion: Legacy fund scholarship winners will be invited to attend Saturday lunch. No accommodations will be provided.

3. Overflow hotel

Discussion around need of an overflow hotel (Holiday Inn Express across QEW) and whether a shuttle service will be provided. As there is sufficient parking on-site and members can claim taxi fares, there is no need for a shuttle.

4. Non-steward ORE member

If you are an ORE member, you do not need to be a steward, you can be a retired member. However, to attend OSC, you must be a steward. Therefore, an ORE member that is not a steward is not entitled to be paid for travel & costs during OSC

Motion: ORE to pay for an ORE member, who is not a steward, to attend the OSC, in the event that PIPSC does not pay for accommodations & travel costs.

5. ORE member as a nominee to either Steward of the Year or Glenn Maxwell Executive of the Year awards

The meeting went “In camera” around 19:55 and went “out of camera” at 21:05. Below will be recorded the motions and final award winners.

Motion: That there be 2 Glenn Maxwell Award recipients
