On December 6, we will be remembering victims of violence at the École Polytechnique in Montreal in 1989.
The commemoration will be held at the Human Rights Monument on Elgin Street at 6 p.m. PIPSC is hosting a quiet reception after the event at the Knox Presbyterian Church 120 Lisgar Street, Ottawa. The church is located at the corner of Elgin and Lisgar Street.
All members of the NCR are welcome to attend the commemoration event and to show support for our members as we confront violence in our schools and workplace. We ask that PIPSC members respect the solemnity and significance of this day to participants.
