2025 BCC NRCan Charity Golf Tournament
On September 26th, 2025, NRCan employees came together for a charity golf tournament. This year was going to be an informal relaunch of the NRCan Charity Golf tournament with minimal expectations for raising money. If we happened to draw out 12 or more coworkers for a day of sun and social golf, then it would be a win. Not only did we get our 12, and it was a beautiful sunny day, but we ended up with 11 teams, a shotgun start, and a variety of interactive ways to donate to charity. In all we raised $405 which has been donated to The United Way through the GCWCC.
We want to give thanks to PIPSC, NRCan Branch, and PSAC for supporting keeping us fed and hydrated, Irish Hills Golf and Country Club for hosting an amazing event and donating two 18-hole prizes, all the golfers who attended, and our team of volunteers who helped with the organization leading up to and throughout the day.
