Dear Stewards / Activist,
One thing we do know is the COVID-19 pandemic has created a ton of change. As well, that "change" will be continuing for some time. With health restrictions, physical distancing and remote working, our role as union leaders, stewards and activists has also changed.
To help support the work of stewards and activists in the BC/Yukon Region, we are pleased to announce a new online Steward Speaker Series for 2020. These sessions will be specifically designed to PIPSC stewards and activists. With so many great resources available, we will try to be unique and not repeat other sources.
Information on the first session of our series is located below and a full write up is attached.
- Topic: Staying Resilient in Extraordinary Times
- Date: June 24, 2020
- Time: 12:00pm – 1:00pm Pacific
- Registration Link: http://www.cvent.com/d/5nq6kn/4W
These are optional sessions and will be scheduled during lunch (like a lunch and learn) or the evenings to minimize disruptions to your work and home life schedules. Space is limited to 50 people, so you will need to register (please cancel if you are unable to attend).
Looking forward to you attending. Please let me know if you have any questions.
