The Vancouver Branch is happy to invite you to a multi union event at the PNE this year! Join the Vancouver & District Labour Council, Monday, September 3, 2018, for a multi union rally at 10 am at the Pacific Coliseum. Everyone must have a wristband for admission to the Coliseum, which gets you into the Fair after the rally and gives you access to private picnic area!
The details:
- 10AM Rally at the Pacific Coliseum, including free admission for members to the PNE, entertainment and special guests (including John Horgan)
- 11AM Enjoy the rest of the day at the PNE, including a private picnic area set aside for union members and their guests
Note: Registration and entry to the PNE will take place between 8:30 and 9:30 AM at the entrance close to the Coliseum. Members should plan on arriving no later than 9:45.
Wristbands will be required to gain access to the rally, PNE, private picnic area, and community-partner booth zone. All wristbands must be picked up BEFORE the rally. A well identified Vancouver branch representative will be at the gate near Guest Services at the Coliseum with your wristband.
Wristbands are limited:
We will only have a limited amount of wristbands available on a first come first serve basis. We will supply up to two wristbands per member.
How to register:
Send an email to the Vancouver Branch gmail account pipscvanbranch@gmail.com with “Labour Day event at the PNE” in the subject line to reserve your wristbands (2 wristbands per person maximum).
(Please state your full name, if you are bringing a guest, work location and confirmation you are a Vancouver Branch member).
The absolute latest you can register is Midnight Saturday 1 September.
We will advise by email if you will receive a complimentary wrist band(s).
Friends and families are welcome!
Guests accompanying members to the rally will be able to purchase discounted wristbands ($12 adult, children 13 and under free) & ride passes ($39.74 over 48 inches tall and $29.75 under 48inches) online using the same promo code and must also present a printed or electronic copy of their purchased wristband/ticket to Guest Services at the Pacific Coliseum between 8:30 and 10:00 am on September 3 outside of the rally to receive their wristband.
