Vancouver Branch Annual General Meeting
Date: Thursday, September 8, 2022.
Location: Steamworks Brewpub, 375 Water Street, Vancouver.
Time: 4:30 p.m. Cash Bar (no host), Business 5:00 p.m., Dinner & Continuing Business 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
The Vancouver Branch Executive invites you to come and enjoy a relaxing and informative evening with fellow PIPSC members and staff of the Professional Institute.
The AGM is an opportunity for all of us to come together to discuss common concerns and share our ideas for the Branch and PIPSC. We hope to see you at the AGM.
Note that this is a business meeting for Vancouver Branch members only.
Please confirm your attendance at the AGM by Thursday, September 1, 2022 by emailing tpowers@telus.net your name; work and home telephone numbers; and meal choice of vegetarian or non-vegetarian.
We suggest that you confirm early, as seating for dinner is limited to 65 members at this facility and so we can make the final catering arrangements. A meal cannot be guaranteed for member dinner registrations received after September 1, 2022. Should your plans change and you find that you are unable to attend, please advise us at the tpowers@telus.net as we are required to pay for all ordered meals, even if not consumed.
NOTICE OF ELECTION
Please be advised that there are up to eight (8) positions open for election on the Vancouver Branch Executive. Six (6) positions are to be filled for a 2-year term and two (2) positions for a 1-year term.
Below is the nomination form. Nomination forms submitted in advance of the AGM must be received by the Election Committee Chair by Thursday, September 1, 2022. Alternatively, nominations can be received from the floor of the AGM.
