Vancouver Branch Annual General Meeting

Date: Monday, December 3, 2018.

Location: Holiday Inn & Suites, 1110 Howe Street, Vancouver.

Time: 4:30 p.m. Cash Bar (no host), Business 5:00 p.m., Dinner & Continuing Business 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

The Vancouver Branch Executive invites you to come and enjoy a relaxing and informative evening with fellow PIPSC members and staff of the Professional Institute.

The AGM is an opportunity for all of us to come together to discuss common concerns and share our ideas for the Branch and PIPSC. We hope to see you at the AGM. 

Note that this is a business meeting for Vancouver Branch members only.

Please confirm your attendance at the AGM by Monday, November 26, 2018 by registering your name, work and home telephone numbers at pipscvanbranch@gmail.com. We suggest that you confirm early, as seating for dinner is limited to 70 members at this facility and so we can make the final catering arrangements.  A meal cannot be guaranteed for member dinner registrations received after November 26, 2018.  Should your plans change and you find that you are unable to attend, please advise us at the e-mail address above, as we are required to pay for all ordered meals, even if not consumed.  At the time of registration please indicate any dietary preference.   

NOTICE OF ELECTION

Please be advised that there are seven (7) positions open for election on the Vancouver Branch Executive.  Note that the positions are to be filled for a 2-year term for the years 2019 and 2020.

Enclosed with this notice is a nomination form.  Nomination forms must be complete and received by the Election Committee Chair by Sunday, December 2, 2018.  Please follow the instructions on the Nomination form.  If you have any questions regarding the elections, then please contact the Election Committee Chair, Behzad Mehrabadi at behzadian2000@hotmail.com
