The Okanagan Branch is holding its Annual General Meeting and elections.

When: Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 5:30 PM 

Where: The Sumac Ridge Golf & Country Club, 17333 Sumac Ridge Drive, Summerland, BC.

Schedule

5:30 PM – Meet and greet 

6:00 PM – Dinner

7:00 PM – Welcome and business meeting

Proposed agenda:

  1. Welcome and Introduction of Branch Executive
  2. Acceptance of the Agenda
  3. Adoption of the 2025 AGM minutes
  4. Financial review for 2025
  5. Adoption of the 2027 budget
  6. Nominations and elections:
    1. Call for nominations for President (2-year term), Treasurer (2-year term), and 2 Members-at-large (2-year terms)
    2. Election
    3. Motion to destroy the ballots
  7. Guest Speakers:
    1. Sean O’Reilly, President, PIPSC or a representative of PIPSC Board of Directors
    2. Morgan Cranny, Regional Director, BC/Yukon Region, PIPSC
  8. Question and answer session
  9. Adjournment

Cost and RSVP:

Attendance is free for Okanagan Branch members.  Dinner seating is limited to 55. 

Please e-mail Philip Mantler, Branch President, at Pmantler@pipsc.ca by Friday, September 4, 2026, to confirm your attendance. You will receive an email confirming your dinner seat.

A member’s spouse or partner is also welcome to attend the AGM dinner for $15, if space is available. Please e-mail Philip Mantler only after September 4, 2026, to have your spouse or partner added to the wait list. You will be contacted if a dinner seat is becomes available.

The draft minutes from the 2025 AGM are posted on the PIPSC website. Please review them before the meeting, as only a limited number of printed copies will be available.
