The Employee Wellness Support Program (EWSP) is moving forward after some delays at the beginning of the year.
We have now finalized an agreement on the design of the program and this work is advancing smoothly.
EWSP will provide 26 weeks of paid leave with 100% income replacement for each illness or injury, along with 9 fully-paid “cough and cold” sick days.
PIPSC members eligible for EWSP will vote on ratification of the program in Fall 2020. We will run a full information campaign in advance of this vote so that members can make an informed choice.
