The 50 Victoria St. SP Sub-Group 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Thursday, December 1st, 2022. The event took place from 12:00 pm. to 1:00 p.m. virtually via MS Teams.

3. Adoption of the minutes of the 2019 annual general meeting
Motion to approve to the minutes to the 2019 AGM:

4. Business arising from the Minutes of 2019
None.
5. Report of the President
Marcel Beaudoin presented a very short report on:
· Review of the past years (2019-2022): brief report on work space accommodation, telework and hybrid/virtual meetings.
· Plan on having monthly drop-in sessions during lunch time with Marcel in 20223.
· SP AGM in 2022 was hybrid and ongoing forward will be hybrid
6. Annual financial report
2023 budget presented by Mary Murphy:
· Plan to donate $2000 to food banks ($1000 to one in Ottawa and $1000 to one in Gatineau).
· Plan to send observers to SP AGM (Aril in Toronto) and PIPSC AGM (November in Montreal). The amount allocated to send observers has been increased due to increased costs.

7. Elections
Current executive composition:
· President – Marcel Beaudoin, elected in 2019, up for election
· Vice-president – Jay Fothergill, elected in 2019, up for election
· Treasurer – Mary Murphy, elected in 2017, up for election
· Secretary – Reginald Linco, elected in 2018, up for election
· Member-at-large – Céline Fletcher, elected in 2018, up for election
· Member-at-large – Maria Salazar, elected in 2018, up for election
· Member-at-large – Adel El Hamad, elected in 2017, up for election
· Member-at-large – Mazen Hijazi, elected in 2017, up for election
· Member-at-large – Akid Azfar, appointed 2018, up for election
· Member-at-large – Hassan Bayaa, appointed 2018, up for election
To ensure continuity with level of experience of the sub-group executive members, the following will have 2-year terms (President, treasurer, 3 Members at Large) and the following positions will have 1-year term (VP, Secretary, 3 Members at Large) (These terms then switch to 2-year terms). Note: If any 2-year Members at Large positions are unfilled, they will be converted to 1-year positions.

Due to lack of time left for the meeting there was a motion to adjourn the meeting:
