SH Group members,
Your Bargaining Team met with Treasury Board on November 7th to 9th. Treasury Board has still not presented their monetary proposal at the negotiation table. They have expressed their intention to exhaust all non-monetary issues prior to moving to monetary aspects of the proposal.
We did make some progress. Article 8 on hours of work/shift work is near completion. We also had fulsome discussions on Articles 2 through 17. Treasury board had requested further clarification on self regulated profession, standby and call back as it impacts our members. We finished our bargaining session by providing the employer with our counter proposals. We are set to meet again Dec 12-14th.
We have planned drop-in sessions after our next bargaining session for December 19th, 2023 at 7pm EST and December 21st at 11:30am and again at 3pm EST. See time options and required links below:
