The CNSC / PIPSC pay equity committee continues making progress, but an extension is required to do the job right. The committee is of the opinion that and the plan is to be done correctly, the legislative September 2024 deadline is unattainable, and the employer is applying for an extension to the commission. 

While it is unfortunate that the plan will not be done on time, PIPSC remains committed to working at the table with the employer to develop a plan that addresses the gender wage gap.
