In accordance with the NUREG Group Constitution, By-Law 8 Elections, the Group Elections Committee is sending out a Call for Nominations for the following positions on the NUREG Group Executive:

One (1) President By-Law 7.1

One (1) Vice-President By-Law 7.2

One (1) Secretary By-Law 7.3

One (1) Treasurer By-Law 7.4

Five (5) Members-at-Large By-Law 7.5

All regular members of PIPSC who are members of the NUREG Group are eligible to run. The nomination form must be signed by the nominated member indicating that the member is willing to serve if elected and must be signed by at least two (2) NUREG Group members eligible to vote for the candidate.

Candidates are also asked to submit a brief résumé of their experience and objectives (maximum 200 words) with their nomination. Résumés will be translated and inserted in the Election Voting Kit as submitted by the candidates. Please note that it is the responsibility of candidates to review their résumés before they are submitted because they will not be proofread or corrected. The 200 word maximum will be strictly administered. Nominations Forms and Résumés are to be received by email at no later than 12:00 p.m.(noon), Ottawa time, May 4, 2018.

Note: AMeet the Candidates lunch meeting is planned for May 31, 2018 to allow NUREG members to talk to the candidates. Candidates for Executive Officer Positions (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer) will each be given the opportunity to address the members for 5 minutes. Candidates for Member-at-Large positions are also welcome to speak if they wish and as time permits.
