Your PIPSC Bargaining Team is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with Hamilton Health Sciences.
During conciliation on Wednesday, April 21, the PIPSC and Hamilton Health Sciences bargaining teams reached a tentative agreement that we will present to the members for ratification in the coming weeks.
This was the culmination of months of preparation beginning in 2019, including a bargaining conference, membership survey, multiple meetings of your bargaining team, 6 negotiation sessions with the employer, and a full day of conciliation.
Next steps
Full details of the tentative agreement will be provided in a ratification package, to be distributed by email to JCC-RT members. An information session has been tentatively scheduled for May 18, 2021, once the ratification package has been finalized and distributed to the membership. Following the information session, you will be invited to vote electronically on the tentative agreement.
