The CP Gatineau Subgroup and CP Ottawa Subgroup are glad to join forces and invite you to a virtual member engagement participation event called “Art While Apart” on Monday, April 26th, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

PIPSC  Partnering with Algonquin College

On behalf of the Brighter Days campaign for the Algonquin College Public Relations (ACPR) program, the students will host a paint night for the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada members. This event supports the fundraising campaign for youth mental health with 100% of the proceeds going to a local chosen charity.

The event will take place via Zoom, for the purposes of entertainment and mental wellness. Participants will follow a paint tutorial video together from the iconic artist, Bob Ross. The event will include interactive segments presented by the student hosts. Art kits with necessary paint supplies will be assembled and delivered within the Ottawa-Gatineau (NCR) region prior to the event. For members who are outside of the NCR region, a checklist of required and easily accessible painting supplies will be emailed. All levels of experience are welcome.

We emphasize that in COVID-19 times, getting together virtually for activities has a significant effect on our mental health. All public servants have been affected without having gathered with colleagues and loved ones for over a year.

Please RSVP before April 19th, 2021, as there is a limit of 100 members.  Please email all requested information below to brighterdayspipsc@gmail.com
