Your CFIA-S&A Bargaining Team is pleased to inform you that CFIA has completed their ratification process and our collective agreement is almost ready for signing.
This collective agreement will cover the period of October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2022. Once signed, the employer will have 180 days to implement most new pay rates and retroactive pay as per the Collective Agreement Implementation Memorandum of Understanding.
We will be working with the employer to identify an implementation date for the new extended parental leave allowance. Keep an eye out for further information.
