The term of the current Kitchener-Waterloo AFS Sub-Group Executive will expire at the next Annual General Meeting scheduled for Thursday May 17, 2018

Thus, nominations are invited for the following positions:

President

Vice-President

Secretary

Treasurer

Members at Large (Max. 7)

The term of office for these positions is for two years effective May 17, 2018. The duties of the Kitchener-Waterloo Sub-Group Executive are described in the constitution of the sub-group (copies are available from the Institute’s National Office).

All members of the Kitchener-Waterloo AFS Sub-Group are eligible to be candidates except for exclusions and members of the Elections Committee.

The deadline for receipt of nomination forms (see enclosed) is 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018. Nomination forms are to be delivered to a member of the Elections Committee.

Since voting will take place before dinner, candidates are invited to submit a brief resume of their experience and objectives (maximum 450 words) with their nominations. These must be provided in hard copy with the nomination. Once approved, nominees will be asked to provide an electronic version of their resume to kwafsmember@gmail.com, so they will be provided to the membership prior to the AGM. Additionally, after approval, nominees will also be allowed to post their resume on the Kitchener AFS Subgroup bulletin boards from Monday April 30, 2018 through Thursday May 17, 2018.
