Dear Colleagues,
On Wednesday, November 25, 2026, we will be holding our Annual General Meeting
(AGM) and dinner for members of and dinner for union members of the Gatineau Office.
The AGM will be held at Casa Grecque Restaurant, located at 85 Bellehumeur
Street, Gatineau, QC J8T 6K5. The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. Dinner will be
graciously provided by the union subgroup for all members in attendance.
Elections will be held for the following positions within the VFS Subgroup of
Gatineau:
President (2-year term): Gilbert Mafamolo is seeking re-election.
Vice-President (2-year term): François-Xavier Onana is seeking re-election.
Treasurer (2-year term): Francky Cherismé is running for this position.
If you are a steward and are interested in running for one of these positions, please
let us know before November 9, 2026. If you would like to discuss the
responsibilities associated with any of these positions, please do not hesitate to

Members who are interested in becoming union stewards are also encouraged to
