The PIPSC AFS Summerside Sub-Group Executive is seeking members who are interested in becoming more involved in their union and helping shape the future of our local. Serving on the Sub-Group Executive is a rewarding experience that provides opportunities to:
* Have a direct voice in discussions and decisions affecting AFS members.
* Represent your colleagues and bring forward local concerns, ideas, and priorities.
* Participate in union events, meetings, and conferences, including opportunities to engage with PIPSC and AFS leaders from across Canada.
* Expand your professional network and develop leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Stay informed about bargaining priorities, workplace issues, and important union initiatives.
* Help influence decisions that impact not only our local membership, but AFS members across the country.
Whether you have previous union experience or are simply interested in learning more and becoming involved, we encourage you to consider joining. New perspectives and fresh ideas are always welcome.
We will be accepting applications and nominations for Executive positions up to and including our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
