Top-down office mandates ignore modern workplace reality and undermine the hard work of dedicated professionals.

It is time to make our voices heard.

The Atlantic Regional Executive is calling on all Halifax area members, and stewards attending the Steward Council to join us for a demonstration of solidarity and strength. 

Modern public service requires modern, flexible workplaces—not rigid mandates. When flexible work is dismantled, morale, retention, and service delivery suffer.

Let’s show the employer that we stand united for fair, flexible, and evidence-based workplace policies.

When: Friday, October 23, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM sharp
Where: Victoria Park, Halifax (across from the Lord Nelson)
Perks: Pizza lunch, drinks, and a rally T-shirt provided for all registered participants.

Steward Council Attendees: Please complete your main Council registration first upon arrival. Picking up your registration package and rally T-shirt early helps us avoid a rush at the desk between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM, and ensures you have your shirt ready to wear for the demonstration
