The PIPSC National Capital Region (NCR) will be marching together in this year’s Labour Day Parade, and we would love to see a strong, proud, and enthusiastic turnout from our members.

Monday, September 7, 2026
Assembly Time: Please arrive no later than 11:30 a.m.
March Start: 12:00 p.m. sharp
March Starting point: Ottawa City Hall (Lisgar Street Side)
March End Point: McNabb Park
March Distance: Approximately 2.2 km

If you are unable to participate in the march but would still like to show your support and solidarity, we invite you to join us at McNabb Park at 1:00 p.m.

This is a wonderful opportunity to stand together in support of fair workplaces, respect, equity, and the rights of all workers. Wear your PIPSC colours, bring your enthusiasm, and encourage your fellow members to join us for this inspiring community event.

What You’ll Receive

Every registered marcher will receive a complimentary PIPSC-NCR Labour Day T-shirt (while quantities last).
Water will be available to help keep everyone hydrated throughout the event.
Ten lucky participants who march with PIPSC will be selected at random to receive a special raffle prize.

Pre-registration is required. Please complete the Google Form so we can confirm attendance and provide you with important event information, including the meeting location, final instructions, and any updates before parade day.
