You’re invited to the AFS Vancouver Sub-Group Social and Member Appreciation Picnic.
Join us for picnic food, games, and a chance to share your bargaining input with AFS Regional Representative Simon Chiu. You will also have a chance to win door prizes!
When: August 8, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Where: Memorial South Park (picnic tables in the northwest corner near the pond), 5955 Ross St, Vancouver, BC V5W 1T7
Street parking is available around the park. You can also enter the parking lots from 41st Avenue or Ross Street.

What to bring
- Sunscreen
- A picnic blanket or lawn chairs
- A hat
- Water
- Your own equipment if you would like play any sports, such as tennis, pickleball, frisbee, soccer, volleyball
We will provide picnic food and drinks, but you are welcome to bring your own.
The event will take place if at least 10 PIPSC members (plus their families) register. If you bring more than three family members, there is a $10 fee for each additional family member.
