Misconduct - Board member who started campaigning before the publication of candidates' list on 30 August 2024. The measure taken is: Publication of this written reprimand.

Current PIPSC Board Members elected in 2021 and seeking reelection in 2024 were instructed, by the National Elections Committee in 2023, to refrain from officially campaigning for reelection prior to the publication of the candidate list scheduled for August 30, 2024.

These instructions have been issued under subsection 17.3.2 of the Institute’s Bylaws to ensure that members have fair access to all candidates, including current Board members seeking reelection, while enabling current Board members to continue to perform their official duties. Furthermore, these instructions were issued to ensure that current Board members seeking reelection do not get an unfair advantage over other candidates by campaigning at events they attend as part of their official duties, which is prohibited.

Candidate Domey was found to have infringed these instructions.
