Allan David Shusterman devoted decades of service to both public service and PIPSC, where he became a familiar and respected presence in the National Capital Region (NCR) and the Retired Members Guild (RMG). During his career with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, he took great pride in his work and was actively involved in the Institute for more than 20 years.
Allan served in many roles over the years, including steward, regional executive member, Board Director for the NCR, Treasurer of the NCR, and later Treasurer of the RMG. He regularly attended meetings, councils, and AGMs, and was always willing to contribute his time and experience to support members.
Those who knew Allan will remember his kindness, his dedication, and his sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
